Get over it

Summer has left the building. So, what to wear now to get you through the erratic weather patterns and new normal life this season? How about the new wardrobe staple; the overshirt.

These are versatile with a capital V. They are warm, comfortable, have pockets and can be worn over sweatshirts for a casual look, over jumpers to layer up a smarter outfit and t-shirts/ shirts for lazy crazy days of pseudo summer that haunt us when we are least expecting them. Overshirts are a great transitional piece for transitional seasons – from Summer to Autumn and Winter to Spring.

They are also pretty handy for travelling being lightweight – as they are made from 65% of the new wonder fabric Tencel – which is made from pulped eucalyptus, which is fast growing, doesn’t require much water to grow compared to cotton and it is sustainable through its processing and dyeing too as it requires less water and its biodegradable.

No surprises that our collection has overshirts then, in three neutral shades to match with your whole wardrobe. There’s a green, a brown and a navy. Also, no surprise that ours have clever tailoring that makes them drape well but are soft to the touch and not at all restrictive to wear.

Indeed, these can be worn open over your outfit or closed up for colder days. There’s enough space to wear a gilet or hoodie under too.

The bonus? They have pockets. Proper man pockets that fit in the things you need like phone, keys, wallet, etc., so no going out of shape or giving you bulges where you probably don’t want them.

They don’t crumple easily either so having one in the car / back of your chair for when the outdoors calls, is a smart move. Now it’s just down to you which colour(s) you choose!
